Every June 1st some countries celebrate International Children's Day reminding the world of children’s need for well-being and rights to face numerous challenges in the various aspects of their lives.
The Ivanaj Foundation Institut has been a supporter of this initiate since the official opening of its operational premises in Tirana in 2017, and successfully conducts a Gift Drive event for this purpose on an annual basis. This year could not be different.
We decided to bring some joyful moments to the kids that frequent the Gonxhe Bojaxhi Community Center which among other services, promotes education, growth, and care of needy children, and were happy to cheer up about 50 of them, most of whom belong to the Roma community.
In addition to the tangible gifts that each one of them received, our Foundation also gave them a demonstration of two of the most beloved activities of nowadays: Robotics and Art and Crafts. Our collaborators, SmartKids Albania and Creative Art and Crafts, entertained the children in this center with a pleasant set of activities with educational robots, and also joining them in play coupled with moments of drawing art.
We are grateful to all our collaborators and contributors that continue to sustain us in our goals, which as you all know by now, are educational and cultural to benefit especially Albanian younger generations.
