Last Friday, our VOLIF group gathered at our Foundation’s Library for our monthly meeting as scheduled. Newcomers and experienced volunteers had the chance to get to know each other, converse and exchange thoughts.
The meeting this time had a special feature: a transatlantic Zoom connection live with our Executive Director currently in NY. A lot was planned in the agenda, but the main topic, as always, focused on upcoming plans, especially now regarding the last couple of months of 2021. The conversation sparked a lot of bright ideas and brainstorming among the members present.
It’s always refreshing to hear new concepts and suggestions from our group of young eager minds that we solicit them to share since they may eventually lead to new proposals and projects research and development in which they can play a great role with our Foundations’ backing and support.
Every one of us is perfectly capable of delivering something good, making use of each other’s respective expertise. Taking the lead on a project can often seem scary, but it’s a set of soft and hard skills that, when given a little support, can originate concepts and activities that our community needs.
We’re always looking for talented people to proliferate our Volunteer Hub’s services wherever they may be needed.
Lay the groundwork and become part of the Team! Apply now.
