Today, the Ivanaj Foundation marks a special milestone: the 8th anniversary of its establishment. Eight years filled with dedication to education, innovation, and the promotion of Albanian culture, proudly following the luminous footsteps of the Ivanaj family.
This anniversary brings a deep sense of reflection and gratitude, but also the void left by our beloved founder, Drita Ivanaj, who passed away a few months ago. Everything the Foundation represents today is the fruit of her dream and tireless devotion. Inspired by the intellectual and patriotic legacy of her father, Prof. Martin Ivanaj, and her uncle, Dr. Mirash Ivanaj, Drita worked passionately to build a modern institution dedicated to Albania’s development.
As we look back, we feel proud of our journey and hopeful for the future. From creating a contemporary center with multifunctional spaces serving as a community hub, to offering educational programs, supporting startups and young professionals, and organizing numerous conferences, seminars, and cultural events that have enriched Tirana’s intellectual life, all stand as living proof of Drita’s vision, which today has become reality.
Despite our achievements, our mission remains unchanged: to contribute to the building of an educated, prosperous, and democratic Albanian society. The Ivanaj Foundation team remains fully committed to continuing this work, expanding programs, and reaching more young people across the country.
