We have established collaborations and partnership with 3 schools: \u201cBardhyl Pojani\u201d in Korca (Albania), \u201cAco Ruskovski\u201d in North Macedonia \u2013 \u201cOdhise Paskali\u201d in Kosovo*; and one NGO: \u201cLet\u2019s Do It Peja\u201d in Kosovo*.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A total of 30 students (10 from each \u200barea of the Western Balkans) and 3 teachers (1 from each \u200barea) will take part in 6 joint activities: 2 held in North Macedonia, 2 in Kosovo and 2 in Albania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All 33 participants will follow 2 days of training on \u201cPast and current issues related to environment protection and ecosystem management in fragile areas\u201d, plus a 2 day workshop on \u201cEnvironment protection and ecosystem management in fragile areas\u201d, as well as a 2 day training in \u201cEnvironmental protection in cross-border areas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The participants will also travel across their respective countries to create \u201cThe Peace Path\u201d, a three-nation symbolic road marked by planting of trees along the way as a symbol of peace, co-operation, and reconciliation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cThe Peace Path\u201d is a project financed by the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) and implemented by the M &amp; M Ivanaj Foundation Institut in partnership with \u201cBardhyl Pojani\u201d school in Pojan, Kor\u00e7\u00eb Albania, \u2018Let\u2019s do it Peja\u2019 and \u201cOdhise Paskali\u201d school in Peja, Kosovo (*) and \u201cAco Ruskovski\u201d school in Berovo, North Macedonia.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>(*)This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244\/1999 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project objectives: O1: To increase active social participation and exchange of youth from Albania, Kosovo*, and North Macedonia.
